On this page, you will find a series of activities that you can access to reinforce your knowledge of the 3 Branches of Government.

Students!  Now it's your turn!

    We've discussed it in class, and you've visited the websites.  Now it is time for you to be legislators!

    I would like you to pretend that you are a class representative.  On the blog portion of this website, post a three paragraph essay describing a new "rule" that you would like to see voted as a "law" in the classroom.   Explain why or why not you believe this rule should or should not be passed.  Be sure to refer to the "How to Write an Essay" section of this website for more information on essay structure!  Please remember to use complete sentences!

    Afterward, please re-visit the blog portion of this website and read what the other classmates have written.  Then, provide feedback that represents your opinion.  Your response can be as long or as short as you would like, but please answer to the best of your ability.  The idea is to get a discussion going!
