Students,

   You have already visited the "3 Branches Wrap-Up" portion of this website.  Here is where you will post the 3 Paragraph Essay assignment mentioned on that page.  Remember, you are taking the position of a class Representative as though we are conducting a mock Congressional session.

    In three paragraphs, please include your role, and explain to the rest of your classmates (members of the House) why you want to propose a certain rule (bill) to be passed as a law.  Include why you believe this bill should or should not be passed.  Based on your persuasion, the class will vote and then I (as the President) will ultimately decide to "sign" the bill, or to veto it.

Be sure to check your work by revising your essay based on the suggestions you find on the website below.

    After completing the essay, please re-visit the blog.  Then, read what the other classmates have written about your proposal and give your opinion as feedback.  There is no limit on how long your responses have to be, but please answer to the best of your ability. 

    Remember, the idea is to get a discussion going and defend your opinion, so don't be afraid to chip in and say what you think about a certain bill that is up for class discussion!
