Dictionary Activity Sheet and Additional Practice
Parents and Students,
The following link is to a vocabulary activity sheet for students to work on. In the classroom we are learning how to use the dictionary to improve background vocabulary knowledge. It is a short (but very relevant) activity that will help them with their dictionary skills.

Here is a really great video that shows how to find a word in the dictionary that you may not be able to spell. If you are unable to spell a word, finding its meaning in the dictionary can be challenging. Therefore, this video, lasting for about two minutes, will hopefully help you get around not knowing how to spell a word when looking for it in the dictionary.
